Mike Davey Mortgage Services was established in 1997 by Mike Davey, Sr. as a solo broker, to provide friendly and professional services to people looking for impartial mortgage and insurance advice. It has now evolved into a dedicated father and son team and a family run mortgage brokerage with Mike Davey, Jr. accompanying his father as an adviser.
Mike Davey Sr. has a wealth of experience with over 40 years within the finance industry, working for some of the country’s largest insurance companies and providing over 20 years of mortgage advice to clients whom many of which we are proud to say he has supported from the very beginning.
Our experienced team possess in-depth knowledge of the industry, and who are dedicated to looking after our clients through the process in the best way possible, by staying connected right through to completion and providing the right mortgage solution.
For your peace of mind, we work and adhere to all the requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and are part of the PRIMIS Mortgage Network who provide regulatory support and guidance to our team.
Mike Davey (Senior) - Professional Mortgage Specialist (CeMAP)
Mike is deeply passionate about what he does and loves helping people achieve their aspirations and providing a great service. He has built many lasting relationships and providing a lifetime of advice to his clients. Mike loves watching sport and is a very keen gardener, you won’t find him far from his greenhouse or allotment patch.
Mike Davey (Junior) - Mortgage Adviser (CeMAP)
The newest recruit to the team, son of Mike who joined the family business in 2020 after a long career within Heathrow Airport security. He is very proud to have joined the company and is looking forward to a career alongside his father. Michael is a very keen golfer and loves to get out on the course whenever he can.
Jo Marvell - Compliance Administrator
Jo has been with the business for over 8 years and oversees all compliance related administration. Her knowledge and management of the compliance sector is second to none. Jo loves to travel with her family and seeing new places, whilst also spending time in her garden.
Claire Kent - Mortgage Administrator
Claire has been with the team for 5 years and oversees the management of ongoing mortgage cases and liaising with our clients. Claire is a mum of two girls who loves spending time with them and going for long walks with her Cockapoo.
